We are looking to hire an upbeat, energetic, dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team! Looking to hire 2 part- time positions. Shift will be 10am to 2pm or 1:30 pm to 5:30pm.

The right candidate must have an Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma providing the candidate with a Level 1, 2 or 3
We require a clean criminal record check that includes the vulnerable sector and a valid first aid certificate. Experience working in the childcare field is required.
Our starting wage includes the level 1 top up of $2.64.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols related to early childhood education.
- Foster positive behaviour through guidance strategies that promote respect, independence, and social skills.
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational or care giving settings.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in teaching young learners.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally.
- Classroom experience that showcases the ability to create an enriching learning environment.
- Knowledge of care giving techniques that support emotional well-being and safety of children.
- Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children. This position is ideal for individuals committed to nurturing the growth of young learners through compassionate care and innovative teaching methods.
Pay: $17.89-$24.12 per hour
