Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 1st or 2nd year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic dealership team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Support in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs.
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural repairs or modifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving parts or equipment as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers about repair needs and progress under supervision.
Requirements
- Prior mechanic experience is mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various maintenance equipment.
- Strong interest in automotive repair, maintenance, and technical systems.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship from experienced technicians.
