Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Packer to join our production team. The Meat Packer is responsible for packaging meat products, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Package fresh and processed meat products according to company specifications.
- Label, weigh, and seal packages accurately.
- Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations at all times.
- Operate packaging equipment and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
- Sort, organize, and prepare products for storage or shipment.
- Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and moving meat products as required.
- Maintain accurate production and packaging records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food processing or meat packaging is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
