Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order taking and cash handling.
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, addressing their needs and inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions accurately and handling cash securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Assist with food handling tasks, including stocking supplies and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all sanitation protocols to uphold health standards within the restaurant environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
