Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring efficiency and quality control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety regulations
- Supervise and assist kitchen staff during service, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food handling
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food service procedures
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Knowledge of restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols is essential
