Job Summary:
Power Plus Mobility is a proud Canadian manufacturer of high-quality customizable wheelchairs and seating positioning devices. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembly Line Worker to join our production team in Guelph. In this role, you will handle the manual mechanical assembly of product components, ensuring our medical mobility products meet strict safety and quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom and standard wheelchair parts precisely on a day-shift production line.
- Position, align, and connect metal frames and upholstered components using basic hand/power tools.
- Perform meticulous visual quality control checks on finished sub-assemblies.
- Report any equipment defects, mechanical issues, or material shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized workstation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly line manufacturing or warehouse work is preferred.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and excellent attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs comfortably.
- Reliable transportation to our Guelph facility and a strong attendance record.
