Summary
As an Automotive Technician at CARSTAR, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch automotive repair services. Located in Bradford, this position requires technical expertise and a passion for the automotive industry to ensure that vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
- Repair vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely during repair processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in autobody repair.
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Review repair orders and follow standardized production processes.
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle components, front end, body, doors, frame etc.
- Repair, reshape, and refit body panels.
- Vehicle disassembly and re-assembly.
- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
- Checks parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are received.
- Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years auto body repair experience
- 310B, 310Q, Red Seal License (Preferred but not a must)
- Secondary School (Required)
- Valid G Driver's License
