Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-time Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any issues promptly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and basic food handling practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Hospitality or serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
