We are seeking skilled, experienced and dynamic Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to assist in the monitoring of a staffed home program in the community for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex health care needs. As the RN, you will be responsible for the provision of care in the home, as well as assisting with the training and leadership of LPNs and Community Support Workers. You must have a sincere passion and commitment to providing quality services to our supported individuals.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- A valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License or ability to get within 90 days of hire
- A CRRP Criminal Record Check
- Applicants who have demonstrated experience as a RN in a residential and/or community setting are preferred
As an excellent interpersonal communicator, you are a team player that is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, community professionals and government ministries and organizations. You must be able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary.
The compensation package includes company-paid benefits, a defined benefit pension plan through the Municipal Pension Plan, and competitive wages starting at $44.75/hour.
