Mustang Freightways is currently hiring a Class 1 City P&D Driver for our Calgary Terminal ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday starting at 10:00am

As a Class 1 City Pick-Up & Delivery Driver you load and unload your truck while completing pick-ups and deliveries in Calgary and surrounding area. Duties will include;

Complete pick up and deliveries in and around Calgary using operating a truck & trailer, or flat deck.

Responsible for assisting with loading and unloading of truck and safe operation of pallet jack or power jack.

Complete daily logs and comply with hours-of-service regulations.

Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle.

Manual lifting, up to 50 lbs.
-
Overtime required.
The ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

Valid Class 1 operator’s license

2-5 years driving experience
-
Flat deck experience considered an asset.

General knowledge of the freight industry

Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding safe operation of commercial vehicles, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods

Positive attitude with the ability to work alone or in a team environment

Strong communication skills are a must

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
