Position Title: Long Hole Driller
Department: Mineral Resources
Location: Tuvatu, Fiji
Reports To: Mine Manager
Roster: TBD
Purpose
Provide excellent mining and drilling skills to Lion One Metals.
Key Accountabilities / Activities
Carry out pre-start checks before operating the drill unit.
Ensure the drilling plan is understood and followed.
Assess ground conditions at the face and implement good ground control according to site requirements.
Note and report variations from the drilling plan (e.g., blocked holes, breakthroughs, deviations).
Communicate with surveyors, geologists, and engineers to optimise drill pattern execution.
Work with the maintenance team to ensure the machine is serviced and maintained in proper working order.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mine Manager.

Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks.
Strong understanding and commitment for workplace health and safety.
Experience operating twin boom jumbos.
Ability to read and understand drilling instruction sheets to complete shift reports.
Proficient with hand tools.
Good understanding of heavy-duty machinery.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Physically fit.
Knowledge
Practical understanding of drilling and mining methods.
Sound understanding of equipment operation on a daily basis.
Solid grasp of reading manuals and necessary instructions.
