The Role
We’re looking for an energetic and caring Head Server/Bartender to join our front-of-house team. You’ll be the face of Hestia—making genuine connections with guests, delivering attentive service, and keeping the energy high behind the bar and on the floor.
What You’ll Do
- Work as a team leader with restaurant manager to keep the flow of service smooth, especially during busy nights.
- Welcome guests with a positive, approachable attitude and create memorable experiences.
- Provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, including cocktails, wine, and bar features.
- Mix and serve drinks with accuracy, consistency, and flair.
- Manage your section/bar with efficiency while maintaining a high level of hospitality.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Uphold Hestia’s service standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant/bar.
- A people-first mindset—you genuinely care about creating great experiences.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to thrive during busy nights.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine (or a willingness to learn fast).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to balance fun with professionalism.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in BC and hold a valid Serving It Right certification.
