Fire and Steel Inc. is one of Canada’s fastest-growing pop culture and sword retailers, specializing in anime swords, gaming replicas, cosplay gear, collectibles, and functional steel products.
We are looking for a highly creative and analytical Growth Marketing Manager to help scale our online brand presence and revenue through social media, paid advertising, creator partnerships, and data-driven marketing campaigns.
This is not a traditional “social media manager” role.
We are looking for someone who can:
- develop strong campaign ideas,
- execute quickly,
- understand internet culture and fandoms,
- and analyze performance data to improve revenue and ROAS.
This role is ideal for someone with experience growing enthusiast, fandom, gaming, collectibles, cosplay, streetwear, or DTC e-commerce brands.
Compensation
- Base salary: $80,000–$90,000 CAD
- Performance bonus: $20,000–$30,000 CAD
- Bonus structure tied directly to measurable campaign performance, including:
- ROAS
- revenue growth
- customer acquisition efficiency
- successful launches
- content performance metrics
What You’ll Do
Growth Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute social media growth campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Launch creative campaigns tied to anime, gaming, cosplay, and pop culture trends
- Brainstorm and execute viral content concepts, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and creator collaborations
- Identify opportunities for audience growth, conversion improvement, and customer retention
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Manage and optimize Meta, TikTok, and other paid advertising campaigns
- Monitor and improve ROAS, CAC, CTR, conversion rates, and retention metrics
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, hooks, audiences, and landing pages
- Scale winning campaigns while maintaining profitability
Content & Creative Execution
- Coordinate content production with creators, editors, photographers, and influencers
- Write hooks, ad concepts, captions, and campaign briefs
- Adapt quickly to internet trends, memes, fandom moments, and viral content opportunities
- Help oversee short-form video strategy and execution
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze campaign and platform performance data
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
- Build recurring reports on marketing KPIs and growth trends
- Use data to guide creative direction and advertising spend
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or social media strategy
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns with measurable ROAS targets
- Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting performance data
- Experience with Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, or similar tools
- Ability to independently manage campaigns from concept to execution
- Strong understanding of internet culture, meme culture, and social trends
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with DTC e-commerce brands
- Experience in fandom, collectibles, gaming, cosplay, anime, outdoor gear, or enthusiast communities
- Experience coordinating influencers or UGC creators
- Experience scaling brands through short-form video content
