We are looking for freelance photographers and Photography Coordinators in OTTAWA, ONTARIO who want to join the company on an hourly basis, as a way to supplement their income with additional photographic and assistant work.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Qualifications and Skills for both Photographers and Coordinators
- Be comfortable around children.
- Have great communication skills.
- Availability to sometimes work in the late afternoons and evenings
- Availability to sometimes work weekends.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Work well both independently and in a team
- Be punctual and highly reliable
- Be willing to follow instructions and the company’s creative standards
- Willingness to act as a key contributor in a fast-paced business
- Be able and willing to help to carry, assemble and pack professional photographic equipment.
- Training will be provided.
- Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating and directing.

- Have photography experience
- Photography problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Candidates must speak English fluently.
- Candidates must CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE OTTAWA REGION (Canada) - Do not apply if you are not currently living in Ottawa.
- Must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents, or have a valid CURRENT work permit.
- Vehicle or transportation - some schools and sports associations are in remote areas around Ottawa. Public transportation may not be an option, and Uber may be expensive
- Hours vary; most shifts are 7am to 3pm on weekdays. A few others are evenings and weekends. Availability for all shifts is not required.
- Satisfactory Police Records Check (Mandatory)
- Schedule availability (dates and hours subject to change).
- The school photography season starts mid-September and goes to mid-November. Most shifts will be weekdays, from 7am to 3pm (roughly, as some schools start and end at different times)
- Hockey season starts in early October through mid-November, and will be weeknights and weekends.
- Exact hours and dates will be shared with selected candidates. You don't have to be available for all of the dates to apply. If selected, we cannot commit to offering all shifts.
We offer:
