SUMMER STUDENT JOB OPPORTUNITY
Case Aide - Family & Community Support Services - 12 weeks
Salary Range: $20.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
POSITION DUTIES:

Providing support to the Child and Family Advocacy Unit which include the following
-
Assisting with administration duties within the office
-
Administration duties will include assisting Band Reps, the Family Support Worker and the Jordan’s Principle Case Manager
-
Promote awareness of the Child and Family Advocacy Unit team and the programs that are offered within the unit.

Working with the children & families to provide support to the CFAU team
-
Perform other duties as assigned
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Preference will be given to members or residents of Sagamok Anishnawbek
-
Valid driver’s license is an asset
-
Must sign and comply with confidentiality requirements

Must provide a Criminal Record Check prior to employment
-
Must demonstrate enrollment as a full-time student in the previous academic semester school and be returning full time in the fall of 2026/2027 Academic school year.

Must be eligible for Sagamok Anishnawbek ISETP program funding (member of Sagamok, valid SIN #)

Must have, or be willing to obtain First Aid, WHIMIS, & Health and Safety in 4 Steps

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and email software

Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends) and be self-motivated.

Knowledge of and respect for Anishnawbek values, teachings, culture, and traditions is of critical importance.

Preference will be given to those applicants enrolled in health, recreational and/or human services.
