Clinical Child Psychologist
Subcontractor Position: 3-10 direct hours per week available (days, evening, weekends)

Azalea Child Psychology is a growing private practice in NW Calgary looking to add a doctoral-level Clinical or Applied Psychologist (specializing in work with children/teens/parents), to our team on a subcontractor basis.
This position is best suited to a psychologist who values evidence-based practice, enjoys working collaboratively, and is interested in building experience in private practice while maintaining other professional roles (e.g., hospital, school, academic, or community work).
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Alberta Psychologists (Provisional candidates are welcome to apply)
- Have strong training in assessment and/or intervention from a scientist-practitioner model (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc)
- Have experience working with children, adolescents, and parents
- Have experience supporting neurodivergent populations, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Learning disorders/difficulties
- Emotional and behavioural regulation challenges
About the Role
The psychologist will provide therapy and/or assessment services to children, adolescents, and families within a collaborative group practice setting. Referrals are well-aligned with clinicians who enjoy neurodevelopmental and mental health work with complex, thoughtful families.
This is a flexible subcontractor position with the opportunity to build a caseload gradually. Administrative support, referrals, and a collegial team environment are provided.
