One of our clients is seeking reliable, hardworking Construction Labourers with experience in general construction, concrete work, and rebar installation to support short-term projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
The successful candidate will assist with concrete demolition, rebar handling and tying, stone grading, site preparation, and general labour duties. A large portion of the work will involve moving, organizing, and tying rebar as directed by the site supervisor.
Responsibilities
· Assist with concrete demolition, breaking, removal, and site cleanup
· Move, organize, place, and tie rebar as directed by the site supervisor or crew lead
· Support rebar installation and preparation activities
· Grade, level, and prepare stone base materials
· Complete general construction site preparation and labour tasks
· Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
· Follow site safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
· Work collaboratively with the crew to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications and Requirements
· 2- 3 years of construction labour experience preferred, particularly in concrete demolition, concrete work, rebar, or site preparation
· Experience tying, moving, and handling rebar is strongly preferred
· Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
· Comfortable lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and completing repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift
· Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the GTA
· Strong attendance, punctuality, dependability, and work ethic
· Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
· Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices
· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional night shifts, based on project requirements
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
