The Details:
Sodexo is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations across multiple service areas, including breakfast, lunch grill, chef’s table, and grab-and-go café, with additional responsibility for catering services.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm. (hours could vary)
Competitive Pay: It can range from $28-$30

The Lead Cook plays a key role in guiding the culinary team, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and adherence to safety standards while supporting a diverse, multi-cultural menu. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-station environment.
As one of our cooks, your Key responsibilities will be:

Lead and coordinate food preparation across all stations (breakfast, grill, chef’s table, and café)

Support and execute catering production, setup, and service
-
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
-
Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain high performance standards

Monitor food safety, sanitation, and compliance with operational procedures

Assist with menu execution, incorporating multi-cultural cuisine techniques and variety
-
Support inventory control, prep planning, and daily kitchen organization
Qualifications
What You Bring

Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within a high-volume, multi-station kitchen

Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques

Leadership, coaching, and team-building skills

Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

A team-first attitude and strong communication skills

Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods)
