Barista & Bakery Prep Associate
Job Overview
We’re looking for talented Barista & Bakery Prep Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate will be wellness-oriented and have a passion for coffee, great food, and creating memorable customer service experiences.
This role combines exceptional barista skills with light bakery preparation. Team members will prepare beverages, assemble and bake select baked goods from prepared mixes, and help maintain the high quality and presentation standards Aeset is known for.

Duties
- Effectively educating clients on Aeset products and wellness offerings
- Prepare and serve signature coffee and drinks following company recipes
- Assist with preparation, baking, and finishing of select baked goods from prepared mixes
- Portion, assemble, and present bakery items according to Aeset standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting clients with menu selection, answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving concerns
- Operate espresso machines and other specialized beverage-making equipment
- Take accurate customer orders and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment
- Follow food safety and kitchen preparation standards
- Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and participate in ongoing education and training
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista required
- Ability to skillfully create basic latte art (hearts, rosettas, etc.)
- Experience with food handling, kitchen prep, or bakery preparation is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems and transaction handling, and basic math skills
Skills
- Outgoing and people-oriented with strong customer service skills
- Interest in wellness and quality food and beverage
- Strong attention to detail in both beverage and food preparation
- Elevated sales skills and the ability to achieve sales goals
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
