Hoffman Chiropractic & Wellness is a busy, growing health care clinic in Red Deer, and we are looking for the right person to join our front desk team.
This is a fast-paced, active role for someone who can stay warm and professional with patients while also keeping track of a very busy and constantly changing clinic schedule.
The right person is friendly, calm under pressure, quick-thinking, accurate, and highly organized. You need to enjoy people, but also be able to stay focused when the phone is ringing, patients are arriving, appointments are changing, and details need to be entered correctly.
We are looking for someone who naturally builds trust with patients, communicates with warmth and clarity, and helps people feel confident and supported as they move through their care.
The right person will be comfortable using thoughtful questions, clinic scripts, and caring conversations to guide patients with confidence and kindness.
You will be greeting patients, helping manage doctor and therapy schedules, answering phones, booking appointments, handling payments, entering information accurately, supporting patient communication, and helping the clinic day run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Greet patients with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
- Build rapport with patients over time
- Communicate clearly and comfortably with many different personality types
- Use scripts and thoughtful questions to guide patient conversations
- Help patients stay on track with their appointments and care plans
- Stay calm and focused in a busy environment
- Handle interruptions without losing track of details
- Think ahead and problem-solve when schedules change
- Catch small errors before they become bigger problems
- Move quickly while still being accurate
- Be reliable, mature, coachable, and interested in a long-term position
This role may be a great fit if you have experience in a medical, dental, chiropractic, physiotherapy, wellness, hospitality, teaching, coaching, or busy customer-service environment. Specific training will be provided in chiropractic procedures, clinic systems, communication scripts, and patient care processes.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a busy workday, likes being on their feet, takes pride in accuracy, and feels comfortable having friendly, helpful conversations with patients throughout the day.
