We are more than just a martial arts school. Our After School Program provides a safe, structured, and positive environment where children grow physically, mentally, and socially after the school day ends.

Position Overview
Needs to be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
The After School Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily after school operations including student pick up, supervision, activities, communication with parents, and supporting martial arts classes.
This role requires someone who is organized, responsible, energetic, and confident leading groups of children ages 4 to 12.
The ideal candidate understands how to create structure while still making the environment fun and engaging for kids.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily after school student pick up and attendance
- Supervise children during activities, homework, snack time, and transitions
- Lead games, group activities, and life skills discussions
- Assist with martial arts classes and classroom management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Follow all safety, emergency, and child supervision procedures
- Help create a positive and disciplined culture for students
- Support camps, events, and special programs as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification or equivalent childcare/youth experience
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Experience working with children ages 4 to 12
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working in a physically active environment
Preferred:
- Experience in after school programs, camps, martial arts, sports, or recreation
- Experience leading groups of children independently
