This is an in-office role (no remote) and only open to those living withing the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver Area.
The company has recently migrated accounting to NetSuite. Experience using NetSuite will be considered a significant asset for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Use NetSuite to to assit with:
- Workflow support and basic configuration.
- System maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Support and optimize accounting processes within NetSuite.
- creating and optimizing custom reporting.
- Execute comprehensive bookkeeping duties throughout the entire accounting cycle.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
- Administer the filing of government remittances including GST, PST, Payroll, WCB, and EHT.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank, and credit card statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records through meticulous account reconciliation.
- Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Prepare year-end packages for submission to accountants, encompassing tasks such as preparing trial balances, adjusting entries, and reconciling accounts.
- Provide support for special projects and undertake additional responsibilities delegated by management.
- Digitize and systematize various office documents for efficient organization.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (NetSuite Preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry is a must
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
