We’re seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join the BOH team at Ridge Rock Brewing Company. Located in the heart of Carp, we’re known for our craft beer, great food, and genuine hospitality.
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and management team to deliver high-quality, consistent dishes that reflect our craft and creativity. You’ll play a key role in kitchen operations — from prep and plating to mentoring staff, maintaining food standards, and contributing to menu development.

Responsibilities
- Assist in daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meet Ridge Rock standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Support menu execution and contribute to creative specials and seasonal offerings
- Maintain inventory, manage prep lists, and ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Collaborate with management to uphold cost control and consistency
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for cooking, teamwork, and local craft culture
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
