Overview:
Yangarra Resources Ltd. is seeking a dependable, hands-on Commercial Tire Technician to join our team in the Rocky Mountain House area. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of commercial vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform wheel balancing, and other tire-related maintenance services
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues related to tires and wheels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including basic mechanical repairs and inspections
Qualifications & Assets:
** Prior commercial tire experience required **
- Clean Driving License and Drivers Abstract
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 115 pounds) and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of tire repair procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
