Job Opportunity: Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
Location: 1775 St. Clair West, Toronto, ON
Position Type: Full-Time
Centre Opening: September 7, 2026
About Super Sunshine Childcare
We are excited to be opening a brand new licensed childcare centre in Toronto, thoughtfully designed to be a welcoming, nurturing space for children, families, and educators. Our centre is built on relationships — with children, families, and one another — and guided by the principles of How Does Learning Happen?
As we grow our team, we are looking for Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) who are passionate, caring, and eager to be part of something new from the very beginning.
Please reach out if you’re looking for a role in a brand-new childcare centre where you will have a lot of input in terms of the curriculum, lesson plan and day-to-day activities of the daycare. The owner also has several years of experience working as an ECE in daycare centres in Toronto. As such we want to make everything as easy as possible for all staff.
Providing a living wage and benefits to all staff is a huge priority.
As this is a not-for-profit, we plan to invest the revenue into higher wages and better benefits for the staff. This means the more successful the centre is the more teachers pay will increase. We understand that teachers are what makes childcare centres successful and we want to ensure that we take great care of all our employees.
We are a centre that specializes in care for kindergarten to school-aged children with walks to and from local schools.
As we are a new centre, we want to ensure that we focus on being as safe, creative and innovative as possible. We want to stand out from the crowd while also providing unique learning experiences for the children in our care. If you feel like this would be a good fit, please reach out to us.
The Role
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging. Working alongside a supportive leadership team, you will help bring our centre’s philosophy to life through meaningful play-based experiences and strong partnerships with families.
