The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Receptionist for our Dearborn Ford location in Kamloops, BC.

In the position of Receptionist reporting to the Office Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming visitors in person or via phone call, responding attentively to calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel, and run errands while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential clients.
You will be accountable for:
- Promptly answer the telephone in a warm and courteous manner
- Operate a multi-line telephone system, transferring calls to the appropriate sales representative or department.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner
- Coordinates all courier pickups, orders toner supplies.
- Coordinate and process all necessary documentation as requested.IE (Ford Credit Contracts, lease and renewal contracts)
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate Company records and files in their proper locations
- Where necessary, assist in the compilation of data for various reports
- Welcome on-site customers, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel when necessary
- Perform various clerical and administrative duties as requested.
- Take customer payments when required.
- Communicate with inquirers and visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner
- Acquire basic knowledge about the dealership, in order to be able to respond to inquiries for general information
- Obtain basic demographic information on every customer, using a follow-up file, a computer system, a checklist or any other method established by the dealership
- Provide information to customers on various dealership promotions when requested.
- Answer basic customer inquiries or direct customer to appropriate personnel
- Maintain the reception and customer lounge area in a tidy and presentable manner
- Any other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
- The ability to maintain filing systems and basic database systems.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in the automotive industry.
Other Details:
- Salary Rate: Minimum $18.25 to Maximum $20.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday; 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm (with 2 hours OT)
- Total Working Hour per week: 40 hours
