Position: Licensed Dental Assistant

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Charisma Dental Studio, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Whether you’re early in your career or bring years of experience, you’ll be joining a supportive, professional environment where you can bring your expertise, energy, and empathy to the chair.
Specifics about the role:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9 am-5:30 pm (can be flexible)
- Wage: $30 to $35/ hour, depending on experience.
What you’ll do:
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
- Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Certification as a Dental Assistant with BCCOHP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, and you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
- Comfort with Power Practice, Cleardent and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
