The position holder is responsible for the procurement of parts, materials, equipment, and services required to support aircraft maintenance operations, while ensuring cost efficiency, on-time delivery, and compliance with regulatory and company standards. The incumbent collaborates with multiple teams, manages supplier relationships, and maintains strict attention to documentation and certification requirements.
Responsabilities

Purchase parts, materials, equipment, and services from established suppliers, and identify potential new vendors;

Support the team in evaluating supplier selection;

Initiate the approval process for new suppliers when required;

Create and revise purchase orders;
-
Select the appropriate supplier to ensure fast and/or cost-effective delivery;

Maintain records of purchase orders and certifications;
-
Save invoices for accounting purposes;

Support the supplier parts return process (core returns);
-
Establish and maintain strong business and contractual relationships with suppliers;

Identify, analyze, and implement cost-reduction opportunities;

Ensure rigorous follow-up on each request to minimize delays;

Interact with multiple cross-functional teams (maintenance, stores, and finance);

Update product data sheets in the database as needed;

Support warehouse activities and annual inventory counts;
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures by using only company-approved equipment and materials.
Requirements
Required qualifications
- College diploma or equivalent;

Experience in procurement/purchasing management;
-
Certificate in aeronautical supply chain management (an asset);
-
Experience with or knowledge of Corridor (an asset);
-
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;

Ability to read and understand technical certification documents for aircraft components and parts (8130-1, Form 1, Certificate of Conformity);

Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
-
Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
