Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, medical doctors, and other healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document client progress.
- Support clients through therapeutic interventions for mental health challenges.
- Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs to enhance clinical skills.
- Educate clients about mental health strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a psychotherapist or mental health professional.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health.
- Experience working with children or in pediatric settings is an asset.
- Certification or licensure as required by provincial regulations.
