Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the security team to ensure effective coverage of all security posts and patrols
- Oversee CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity across the premises, identifying potential threats or irregularities
- Conduct regular security audits, fence checks, and yard inspections to maintain safety standards
- Manage access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing credentials as needed
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, collaborating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action
- Maintain detailed records of shift activities, incident reports, CCTV logs, and access records to ensure accountability and compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, security management, or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Demonstrated expertise in surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods to minimize theft and protect company assets
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of vigilance and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and coordinating with emergency services
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during shifts
- Certifications related to security operations or law enforcement are preferred but not mandatory
