Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant is hiring a full-time Server for our Gastown location.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy restaurant and providing attentive, professional service. You will guide guests through the menu, take food and beverage orders, recommend menu items, and help create a welcoming dining experience.
Previous serving experience is required. We are looking for someone who communicates confidently, stays organized, works efficiently during busy service and enjoys working as part of a team. Training will be provided.
Schedule and Availability
Full availability is required.
Shifts may include:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekends
- Statutory holidays
Applicants must be available to work any shift based on the restaurant's schedule.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive table service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Recommend menu items and answer guest questions
- Enter orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Process guest payments accurately
- Complete opening, side and closing duties
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
