Position Summary
Mississauga Hyundai is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to support the daily operations of the Service Department. The successful candidate will assist in leading the service team, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximizing service department efficiency, and maintaining dealership standards. Experience with PBS Systems is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the Service Department.
- Support Service Advisors and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Monitor repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and timely completion.
- Assist with scheduling service appointments and managing shop capacity.
- Support departmental goals related to customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, dealership procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with coaching, training, and developing service department staff.
- Handle escalated customer concerns in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using PBS Systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive service department, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of dealership service operations and customer service best practices.
- Proficiency with PBS Systems is required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hyundai dealership experience is considered an asset.
- Experience managing service advisors and coordinating shop operations.
- Proven ability to achieve customer satisfaction and departmental performance targets.
