We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and booking carriers, managing shipments, and—most importantly—building and maintaining strong relationships within our carrier network.
This role is highly collaborative in nature. Success comes from developing trust with carriers, understanding their strengths, and working closely with them to create consistent, reliable capacity for our customers. The goal is not just to cover loads, but to build a dependable carrier network that supports long-term service and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and secure capacity with carriers for customer shipments.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with carriers across key lanes.
- Collaborate closely with carriers to understand their equipment, availability, and service capabilities.
- Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery while ensuring customer service expectations are met.
- Monitor loads in transit and proactively resolve service issues or delays.
- Review and interpret customer requests (email, PDFs, and other documentation) and convert them into executable shipments.
- Provide consistent communication and operational support to carriers throughout each shipment.
- Ensure accurate rate confirmations, shipment documentation, and load details.
- Work closely with internal teams to align pricing strategies, customer expectations, and operational execution.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, dispatch, or carrier procurement.
- Experience using load boards such as DAT is considered an asset.
- Experience with Loadlink,Avaal or other Transportation Management Systems is an asset.
