Overview
Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic flooring distribution team in Delta, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be proficient in operating electric reach forklifts (narrow aisle) and counterbalance forklifts (must be certified). This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
Duties
- Operate forklifts a to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of products as required.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks associated with forklift operation.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or a similar environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Previous experience operating forklifts, Counterbalance and Electric Narrow aisle Reach Trucks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, with a focus on safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
- A valid forklift operator certification is preferred

- Must speak, read and write English fluently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
