What you will do in this role
- Prepare and send customers invoices.
- Record incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Creates weekly AR aging reports, provide up to date information on outstanding accounts.
- Tracks and record all discounts & allowance for eligible customers.
- Validates customer discounts taken on payment to allowance recorded.
- HST/GST – Prepare and file monthly returns.
- General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with year end inventory.
- Backup for Accounts Payable.
- Specific duties will be adjusted as required to meet the needs of the company.
What you will need to succeed
- 3 years work experience as in an accounts receivable role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Superior time management, planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Sage accounting software preferred.
- Above average knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Team player
This is an in office position in London, Ontario
