Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support other kitchen staff during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent food service experience
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols related to cooking, handling hot equipment, and maintaining a safe kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a line cook or similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in the food industry with a passion for culinary excellence
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
