Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Truck Driver & Mover to operate a 26-foot straight truck and ensure the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of cabinets to residential and construction sites. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cabinets safely and on schedule
- Offload cabinets by hand into homes and construction sites
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all cabinets, hardware, accessories, and delivery components are accurate, complete, and delivered to the correct location safely and efficiently
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and efficient run times
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Follow and enforce all company health and safety policies and procedures while operating the vehicle, loading/unloading materials, and performing deliveries to ensure a safe work environment for employees, customers, and the public
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational growth
Qualifications
- Valid G Class driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a 26-foot straight truck, supported by a letter of experience from a previous employer
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
