Job Summary
Rodren Drilling, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Surface Diamond Driller to join our exploration drilling team across . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diamond drilling operations, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in the field. As a Driller, you’ll play a key role in advancing our exploration projects while working alongside a highly skilled crew.
Responsibilities
- Operate diamond drill rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently in exploration environments.
- Monitor drilling progress, core recovery, and ground conditions, making adjustments as required to meet project targets.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Collaborate with helpers, drill crews, and supervisors to execute drilling programs effectively.
- Maintain accurate drill logs, reports, and records of daily activities.
- Follow Rodren’s safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in exploration diamond drilling operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability with drilling equipment.
- Ability to lead and mentor a crew in remote site conditions.
- Commitment to safe work practices and familiarity with applicable safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience working in exploration or mining projects is preferred.

Schedule
- We usually operate on a 4weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule, 12hour daily shifts
