Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills and tools. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, carpentry, and construction are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine siding installation requirements.
- Measure, cut, and install siding materials using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, and ensuring proper alignment for siding application.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for material handling or site preparation.
- Assist with related construction tasks such as framing, restoration, or masonry work when required.
- Ensure all installations meet building codes and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields preferred.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment.
- Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, or roofing is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required.
- Prior experience in construction painting, concrete finishing, tile laying, or cabinetry installation is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and building codes relevant to siding installation. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
