Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license and will possess a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including flooring, framing, and cabinet installation, as well as experience with finish restoration. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Duties
- Perform flooring installation and ensure proper fitting and finishing.
- Execute cabinet installation with precision and care.
- Fabricate custom wood pieces according to project specifications.
- Install siding and other exterior finishes while adhering to safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately execute carpentry projects.
- Plumb structures to ensure alignment and stability.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Lift heavy materials as required for various tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong skills in flooring installation, cabinet installation, trim work, and siding work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor is essential.
- A commitment to safety practices on the job site is required.
