We are looking to expand our team of climbing arborists. We are looking for an experienced climbing arborist who is hard working, friendly, outgoing and passionate about trees and tree care.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years climbing experience in arboriculture mandatory.
- Experience with large removals, technical rigging and best practice tree pruning
- Valid G license and clean driving record MANDATORY.
- ISA certification an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 50lbs +
- Strong team based work ethic
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working in all kinds of weather
Responsibilities include:
- Climbing trees for pruning and removal
- Ground work, dragging brush, running lines etc.
- Safe operation and maintenance of chainsaw
- Operation and maintenance of other machinery, including chipper
- Year round work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$37.00 per hour
