Account Executive – B2B SaaS Sales

Our client, a growing technology and SaaS organization, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. Position Overview
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while also managing and expanding existing client relationships. This role involves engaging with senior stakeholders, delivering product demonstrations, negotiating agreements, and collaborating cross-functionally to support long-term customer success.
This is a quota-carrying role suited for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable operating in a high-growth sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within SMB and enterprise accounts
- Manage the full sales process from outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Conduct tailored product presentations and demonstrations based on client needs and business goals
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while accurately forecasting opportunities
- Consistently work toward quarterly and annual sales targets
Account Management
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across assigned accounts
- Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and upselling initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and objectives
- Partner with internal teams to support customer onboarding and ongoing account success
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and technical teams to support sales initiatives
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and account activity tracking
- Provide regular updates on territory performance, account activity, and sales progress
- Contribute to strategic planning and sales process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS or technology environments
- Previous experience in an Account Executive, Business Development, or Account Management role
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing a complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Strong ability to build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Postsecondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset
