Georgian Mall Family Dental is one of Barrie's busiest and most welcoming dental practices. THE ROLE
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and people-first Dental Receptionist to be the one of the faces of our practice. You'll be the first and last impression our patients have, so a genuine love for helping people is a must. This is a busy role — no two days look the same — and there is a lot to learn, which means there's always an opportunity to challenge yourself and advance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Manage a high-volume appointment schedule using ABELDENT software
Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and handle appointment bookings, confirmations, and recalls
Process billing, insurance claims, and patient payments accurately
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Handle a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment with composure and efficiency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous dental or medical reception experience is an asset, but we will train the right candidate
Strong communication skills — clear, warm, and professional in person and on the phone
Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail
Ability to stay calm, focused, and positive under pressure
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment
