Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Immigration Casewoker to join our growing team. This role is focused on preparing and coordinating Canadian immigration and visa applications, communicating with clients regarding required documents, reviewing application materials for completeness and consistency, organizing supporting documents, and working closely with internal team members to ensure files are submitted accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable handling multiple files at different stages. This position is well suited for someone with strong organizational and writing skills, excellent communication abilities, careful attention to detail, and a solid understanding of document preparation and case coordination in an immigration consulting environment. Duties
- Communicate with clients to collect required documents and information for immigration and visa applications
- Review client documents carefully to ensure completeness, consistency, and readiness for submission
- Organize, sort, and label supporting documents in a clear and professional manner
- Prepare application forms, submission packages, and supporting letters based on case requirements
- Draft client correspondence, document checklists, explanation letters, and submission letters as needed
- Upload and submit applications through the appropriate online systems and ensure all required documents are included
- Monitor file progress and follow up on outstanding documents, updates, and deadlines
- Maintain accurate internal records, case notes, and document folders
- Work closely with consultants and team members to support smooth file processing and timely submission
- Assist with other case-related administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review documents carefully for accuracy and completeness
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Experience in immigration, visa, legal administrative, or document-based office work is preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Comfortable handling repetitive and detail-heavy work with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general online systems
- Experience preparing Canadian immigration or visa applications is a strong asset
- Chinese language proficiency is required
