Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized office administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are a privately owned family run dental practice with a small tight knit group looking for an individual to join our lovely team :)
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through booking, insurance related questions, processing payments for their appointments and taking inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with dental and medical staff to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and financial responsibilities, ensuring they understand their options.
- Assist in verifying insurance coverage and processing claims as necessary.
- Uphold a professional office environment by adhering to medical terminology standards and office protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building rapport with patients and collaborating with team members.
