Fronterra Farm is a growing boutique farm and nature retreat in Prince Edward County. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance person who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
If you're the kind of person who can look at something broken and say, "I can fix that," we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
No two days are the same. Depending on the season, you may be:
- Maintaining cabins, tents, decks, fences, and farm buildings
- Repairing showers, plumbing fixtures, and water systems
- Diagnosing and repairing small engines and outdoor equipment
- Maintaining lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other tools
- Performing basic carpentry and construction projects
- Responding quickly to maintenance issues during guest stays
- Helping keep the property safe, clean, and operating at its best
What we're looking for
- Strong general maintenance and repair skills
- Comfortable working independently and solving problems
- Carpentry, plumbing, and small engine repair experience is a strong asset
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Friendly, dependable, and takes ownership of their work
