Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest demographic. Previous hotel or front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and professional attitude
- Check guests in and out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact and professionalism
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and other special requests
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures to promote guest safety and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet guest demands
