Overview
We are seeking a skilled Residential and Commercial Cabinet Installer to install custom and pre-manufactured cabinetry and related millwork components in residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will complete installations safely, accurately, and according to project specifications while ensuring high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install custom and pre-manufactured cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, and millwork components in residential and commercial spaces.
- Review drawings, layouts, and installation specifications before beginning work.
- Measure job sites and inspect existing conditions to ensure accurate fitting and placement.
- Assemble, level, secure, and install cabinetry using hand and power tools.
- Make on-site adjustments to cabinets, panels, fillers, and trim to achieve proper fit and alignment.
- Install and adjust doors, drawers, hinges, handles, and other hardware components.
- Modify installations as required to accommodate walls, ceilings, floors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and appliances.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas during and after installations.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate installations and project schedules.
- Perform final inspections, service calls, touch-ups, repairs, and installation adjustments when required.
Experience
- Experience in cabinet installation, millwork installation, or related installation work.
- Ability to read drawings, measurements, and installation layouts.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Ability to work in residential and commercial job site environments.
- Physical ability to lift and install cabinet materials safely.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
