Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, framing, siding installation, renovations, and general construction. This position involves working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including renovations, restoration work, and structural repairs.
The successful candidate will take pride in delivering quality workmanship, working safely, and contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Perform framing, finishing, and general carpentry work
- Install siding, doors, windows, trim, and other building components
- Carry out restoration work, including structural repairs and renovations
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general construction duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or restoration work
- Experience with framing, siding, renovations, and related carpentry work
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and perform physically demanding work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence required
- Clean driving record preferred
