Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating our semi truck to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and freight logistics efficiently.
Duties
- Safely operate our semi truck and flat deck trailer
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and security of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, logs, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
- Able to travel to the US for deliveries to our Montana location
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to freight handling and heavy equipment operation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, perform manual tasks, and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery in transportation operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
